I got this in email and if people actually did this, then it could possibly actually work...I don't however see enough people doing it to make much of a difference...here it is anyway:

4/18/2006 1:55:39 PM
Watch out of hypodermic needles in the gas pumps!
4/18/2006 2:16:14 PM
i've got a better idea, let's blow up all the hummers and big trucks that guzzle gas at less than 14mpg and see if that doesn't slow our consumption enough to drive the prices down.
4/18/2006 3:13:53 PM
I honestly don't think that would have much impact on it.
4/18/2006 4:35:38 PM
the writing style reminds me of a "Mr. Cash" infomercial.
4/18/2006 4:39:09 PM

Any conservation efforts we take now will be offset by the growth in demand elsewhere. The best thing to do is to find something other than oil.

I think Hydrogen powered cars would be great. To bad they're using hydrogen fuel cells, instead of coming up with a way to actually ignite the hydrogen to power the vehicle...then again I guess if you got in a wreck..."BOOM!!"
4/18/2006 5:08:27 PM
People that buy gas from Exxon stations are retards. They're constantly about 6 cents higher than the Crown station.
4/18/2006 5:10:47 PM
4/18/2006 5:11:42 PM
^lol
4/18/2006 5:20:18 PM
i was hoping this was a plan to kill owners of opec or something
4/18/2006 5:25:48 PM
When you go to the gas station someone will put a sticky note on your rear window and when you get out to check it they will jack you. This scam is being run by my mom's best friend's students named Lemonjello and Oranjello. They also pied Gary and burnt down the Atrium.Carry on, but don't Cary on.
4/18/2006 5:32:57 PM
amg guys you are so pessimisticyou can totally change the world by forwarding e-mail!!!it worked my friend's brother's teacher's dog OK
4/18/2006 5:42:30 PM
Please buy more gas from Exxon and Mobile. I love their stock.
4/18/2006 5:45:27 PM
The best way to save money on gas is drive out of your way every time you need gas just to show the gas companies you mean business. Who cares if this means you end up using more gas total rather than going to more convenient locations? I’m sure gas companies, despite the profit from more gas being expended if this was successful, would understand the sentiment of the message rather than the extra profits you’re giving them.
4/18/2006 5:58:18 PM
the thing with that is that 99% of the time you dont have to really go out of the way, instead just go across the street to the other gas station
4/18/2006 6:00:46 PM
Wasn't there supposed to be a "not buy gas day" or something? Didn't it fail miserably?
4/18/2006 6:36:43 PM
Is this a parody thread?
4/18/2006 6:44:33 PM
no she's serious, i got an email with this shit too
4/18/2006 7:13:23 PM
^^^How exactly could that ever work? All having a "not buy gas day" could possibly do is make people buy more gas the day before & after this day.
4/19/2006 12:09:34 AM
The best way to save money on gas is to not pay for it.Pump and jump ftw.
4/19/2006 1:30:03 PM
Jesus is laughing at you.
4/19/2006 1:33:51 PM
I pay for it with a debit card so that won't work for me.
4/19/2006 1:39:34 PM
did somebody say GAS FIGHT?
4/19/2006 1:56:31 PM
^ hahahaha excellent!
