I think Calipari actually turned us down becuase our program was such a disaster then.


A few other names that were very interested in the job that weren't on that list were Rick Barnes and Kelvin Sampson.


We also looked at Billy Donovan but Pitino told us he thought Herb would be the better coach due to his work ethic and experience... plus Donovan was awfully young.

This coach can have the same record as Herb has had for the last 5 years as long as....


1. He beats UNC and Duke just enought to keep us happy....which doesnt have to be every time, but more than 3/30 or whatever we are.

2. He can relate to the fans better.


I'd like to see what was said when Herb was hired though....like if he achieved the goals everyone set for him, or if he just pissed us off recently.
