And we don't have a coach to contact anyone. Sweet.

Talk about getting off on the right foot.

completely off topic, but I don't want to make a new thread.

Has anyone else heard that Engin left for Turkey today? Sounds reiculous to me, but some dickhead on PP seemed pretty sure of himself, then again, they all are.

Just wanted to remind everyone that one of the biggest AAU tournaments of the year is the weekend and we will have NO ONE representing us.

This is fucking awesome.

Are you serious Elwood?

Coaches 99% of the time take their assistants with them.

We are not in a great position right now. Our 2007 class will be weak.

Here's what you make of it....

THEY ARE ALL GONE. Levi Watkins is the only one that is still here...and that's because he's a grad student.

Uhh

So what if Engin left for Turkey today?

He could get his exams rescheduled early, take them, and then leave to play summer ball.

Also, the ESPN story from when Herb went to ASU mentioned that he would be bringing his assistants from Raleigh. Considering that staying here would likely mean being out of a job as soon as the new coach arrived, I'd imagine they went.

Report from the Houston Kingwood Classic that we don't have a fucking coach at:

Quote :
"Chris Wright, PG, Boo Williams: We had heard he struggled in an afternoon contest, but the former N.C. State pledge was terrific in a loss in the nightcap. Threw numerous pinpoint passes, knocked down long-range shots and played with plenty of poise and confidence. One of the top point guards in the nation."

^Yeah. If the contact period starts tommorow, how badass will it look for us to announce the famed and popular Steve Lavin as our NEW HEAD COACH @ 2pm tommorow to make those recruits wet themselves wanting to come here.

So it's been about 3 weeks since the recruiting period started. This is pretty awesome.

I think we're just trying to give everyone a head start...to make it more of a challenge.
