havent had experience in it what so ever, BUT every single person i know that takes courses like py or ch online hates it with a passion. It all really depends on how well you already know physics and how good you are at teaching yourself new material if you are new to the field.

if you took physics in high school, you should be able to do fine.if you didn't, or just dont remember it well, take the lecture.

yeah I'm taking it this semester - too much busy work in my opinion, and the tests are so short you feel as if youve read 4 chps for 2 pgsyou have a reading quiz, activity, and web assign due every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdayyou have a lab due on Fridays, which are simple, just take your time the tests on the other hand are only 3 questions, which can be completely off the wall and if you miss 1 youre screwed - I kept an 87 or so avg on them, but I studied my ass off - I hate physics thoughyou can look at this page http://courses.ncsu.edu/py205/lec/601/ and see a few thnigs, most you have to be in the class for, but class objectives and so forth should be listed

What always screwed me up on the exams in PY205/208 was drawing and labelling arrows indicating direction of forces, electric fields, etc. It was a 50-50 shot, I usually ended up guessing wrong...
