So I finally broke down and bought a new car as my customers didn't like riding around in a Jeep that smelt like fish. I found a 2003 530, Black, 5 speed Manual with the sports package in Charlotte. Car only has 45k miles and drives like a dream. I have never been disappointed by a BMW and this one is the best one I have ever driven. It feels like the perfect blend of everything BMW produces.

yeah, my dad just picked up a new 530i...and I'm thinking about getting an E36 model 328is (or maybe a 323is)

I love this body style more than the new ones. The most important factor for me was having the manual transmission. I do agree on the wheels as they are bad ass.Josh, sorry about St. Patricks day. I tried to find you on river st. but no luck and then I somehow lost my phone. Let me know if you make it back to Savannah.

beautiful car. i think 530i has been voted in one of the euro magazines as the best all-round BMW, when you take into consideration, gas mileage, performance, space, sportiness. perfect blend. enjoy it.

I will join NCEURO.ORG but I live in Savannah, GA right now and I will be here for a few months then off to London. I will post when I am ready to sell the car unless the company will ship it over there for me. My boss in London has a 530i also but its diesel. Anyone know how good the diesel version is?

Here are two takes on it from Top Gear magazine:http://www.topgear.com/drives/A4/E3/roadtests/07/01.htmlhttp://www.topgear.com/drives/A4/E3/roadtests/04/01.htmlBasically it's all the usual e39 characteristics with 185hp and 287lbft torque, and will get 39mpg.Not a bad spec.
