4/10/2006 10:41:57 PM

You have to admit that Chuck has a talent for finding hidden gems and developing players.
4/10/2006 10:45:30 PM
1 star means that they haven't been ranked yet b/c they have not seen enough video of the playerno one actually ends up being a one-star (unless they are a late commit or commit and scout never sees footage of them to rank them)[Edited on April 10, 2006 at 10:48 PM. Reason : .]

hanover represent WHAT WHAT
4/10/2006 10:46:19 PM
^^ your mom was a one star!
4/10/2006 10:47:01 PM
for a guy who 'can't catch a football' TJ did a pretty good job of leading our team in receptions for the past two years
4/10/2006 10:47:13 PM
^ TJ had major problems catching the ball last seasonEven at the Senior Bowl he couldn't catch it.
4/10/2006 10:48:54 PM
4/10/2006 10:48:59 PM
he caught the ball better than anyone elseif 'not being able to catch the ball' means '30+ receptions' and '400+ yards'i'll take it

Yeah he had a drop against Wake that probably cost us the game cause we threw a pick that got returned for a touchdown on the very next play. And that drop against BC that couldnt have been more perfect in the endzone....which killed every bit of momentum we had and might have cost us the game as well. He made some nice catches, but he really fucked up some easy ones.
4/10/2006 11:25:05 PM
yeah i wont forget that wake drop it was lofted perfectly to him
4/10/2006 11:25:49 PM
BUTTERFINGERS!

Yeah...Chuck has done well finding talent in 1*/2* players. It's the 4* and 5* players that seem to crap out. (With the exception of Mario).Even TA was only good for a year.

You were going good there untill you said AJ Davis. He's ok, but he's not nearly as good as Marcus Hudson was, and he makes some of the most boneheaded plays I've ever seen by a corner. For every great play he makes (which was about 3 all of last year), he makes about 39 shitty ones.
4/11/2006 9:05:46 AM
And I think Tank Tyler was a 3 star
4/11/2006 9:06:45 AM
I am not saying that Toney and Andre will crap out, just that I think a lot of people saw great things out of TA after his first year too.Shame on you for AJ Davis
4/11/2006 10:06:21 AM
2005Toney Baker - 5*JC Neal - 4*Curtis Crouch - 4*Kyle Newell - 4*Andre Brown - 4*2004Demario Pressley - 5*Darrell Blackman - 4*Gerard Miller - 4*Tyler Lewis - 4*2003Derek Morris - 5*Lamart Barrett - 4*Mario Williams - 4*2002AJ Davis - 5*Richard Washington - 5*John Deraney - 4*Tramain Hall - 4*Alan Holloway - 4*Not too many disappointments on that list, IMO.And anyway, this new kid isn't rated yet. Don't get in a huff about star ratings until at least October.

The safety ran a 4.28 over the weekend with four watches on him
4/24/2006 12:33:49 PM
That's some hot shit. Especially with a wet track.
4/24/2006 12:40:31 PM
Culliver - "The true showstopper of the afternoon, however, was N.C. State commit Chris Culliver. In Babe Ruth fashion, Culliver predicted a 40-yard dash time in the 4.2-second range despite staring at a wet track. With four watches on him, the Garner (N.C.) corner delivered with a 4.28-second run. Culliver, who checked in at 6-foot and 190 pounds, also recorded a 4.55-second 20-yard shuttle, 36.9-inch vertical jump, and 22 repetitions of 185 pounds."

Six feet is a pretty good height for a DBGuy looks like he'll be a stud. I wonder how many stars he'll be worth later on.
