it's a great snake, just can't keep at the dorms and my mom is bitching about it. http://allboas.com/listing.php?id=122that's him when he was a baby, he has average coloring, is very well tempered. currently is fed a rat (live) every 1-2 weeks.. switches over to frozen easily. He has never bitten me.comes with a 20 gallon long cage, some card board hide boxes, a water bowl, screen top and a heat pad. the cage is a crack on one side of the glass, but it still works.he's about 3 feet or so right now.[Edited on April 9, 2006 at 8:41 PM. Reason : boa is located at my house in cary, so i would have to get him if you're really interested.]

baby ronnie: his color has gotten better, he's yellow'd a bit as well.his rents: bro's and sis'shttp://allboas.com/litter.php?id=21&type=siblingstook him to the vet about 6 months ago, bc he had mouth rot from a mouse biting him. I treated him, and it hasnt come back since. also had his pooo's tested for parasites, had none. granted this was 6months ago, but he's a very healthy weight right now, I have him on a slighly slow feeding schedule so he doesnt get too big.as most that are into snakes know..boas are chill mother truckers and this guy is content with chillin out on ur lap, around ur neck etc. sometimes i let him chill out in my room, he'll pick a warm spot and chill for hours lol. when he was a baby he was an escape artist, but since i've gotten him on a regular feeding schedule he isnt. also just took him to the reptile exhibit at the science museum a couple weeks ago with the original breeder, mr. rushin (allboas.com). Ronnie was handled by kids all day long and despite getting tired didnt show even a bit of aggressiveness, even to the young kids that held him wrong.[Edited on April 9, 2006 at 9:00 PM. Im interested.Seeing that you got him from allboas.com Im assuming you paid a good bit and that it's a quality snake. 40$ to get things started

he's not mr.rushin's best example, but he's still a very good snake. he's only a little over a year old so his colors should continue to get better. In the future i will pickup another snake from allboas, when i get my own place.

Unless you're trying to breed high-end $$$ constrictors, temperament should be more important to the buyer than color. Sounds like a great snake, if I had the capacity to take him I would, but unfortunately I can't. I've had my boa since he was about 2 feet long and now at 5 feet he is just as friendly as the day I got him. They are absolutely the best species of snake to own, I hope you get some decent money (at least $100) for him. But this is TWW and it's insanely hard to get rid of snakes for more than $50 on here, esp. with the expo coming up shortly, but best of luck.

yeah i think i took mine there. it's mad expensive, but it's what u should expect for a reptile. i knew what the snake had, i asked for the antibiotic.. and had to pay 75 for everything that was w/o fecal sampling.
