In all honesty we have one of the worst student sections in comparasion to what is should be. We dont support our teams, and we dont stick with em at all. I'm guilty too, but its not only are fault, its NCSU lack of overall "pep" towards games and athletic events period.

PSU had a "white out" when they played OSU last year, that was amazing but something our student body could never pull off.

You can blame whoever you want, but when it comes down to it... the majority of NCSU students dont have the passion other schools have, and im not sure what caused it.

That's a bad example though, because Penn State is the ultimate student section.

so what are you gonna do about this student section thing. are you going to wait until elections are over and get up with whoever wins SBP and then convince them to do something. or just hope dubbers get into it?

We are a patchwork of the school that lets in the most students of any school in the state, all with their own interests, and not in a college town.

Aiming for a high percentage of the school to support any cause is unachievable. Using our sheer quantity to our advantage and trying to turn out decent sized groups (even if they aren’t a huge percentage of the schools population as a whole) is the way to go.

No way. A coach didn't just leave after 5 successful seasons in a row without support did he??

I didn't go to State because of their sports. I went to two basketball games the whole time I was there.
