Why would anyone want to leave anywhere in Europe, esp. Real Madrid to come to the MLS and get paid less money(probably)

id watch or tape every mls game that new york plays, that would help revenue out for the mls

I knew it had been mentioned before about mainly Beckham but Ronaldo too. Beckman is a bigger name but Ronaldo in my opinion is far better.. Hopefully this would open up the floodgates and we could keep our players in the MLS and also get more players to come over from Europe


It would definately help out revenue

He must be really unhappy in Madrid to want to come here.

But that would be awesome for MLS.

Maybe he doesn't like playing second fiddle to Beckham (even if he's better)?

"far better"... I don't know about that, they're both good in different areas of the game... everybody is so busy calling Becks "overrated" they forget to realize how good he is... his crosses, corners, free kicks -- very underappreciated in my opinion

thats awsome if its true, its like these MLS teams are really trying to compete, heck they've gotta have someone backing them with the money
although i kinda like the MLS as it is, it allows alot of our guys to develope their skills

Ronaldo is getting better but not on the same level that beckham was when he left.
