Alrighty...I've got a couch and 2 chairs that I'm interested in getting slipcovers for. Any particular brands that, in your experience, you have found to hold up well (think dog) and give a really crisp, clean look? I LOVE suede too, though cotton will work if I like the look.Also...the carpet in my new place is this minty, pastel seafoam green...

Surefit works really well, and if you want to find them cheap you can even get them at discount stores and online at Bed, Bath and Beyond--I think.

how much money are you looking to spend? do you want something custom-made, or storebought? etc.

I figure store-bought...and on-sale if I can find something I like. I found some of the sure fits online for almost half off, but I think I need to take some measurements to be sure they'll fit my furniture. I've got a couch and 2 chairs, so if I can spend under 200 or 250 that'd be great

Got mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond ... it was somewhere between $70-80 for a large couch cover. It's nice and a good color and has held up well but the back of my couch isn't flat it has a slight bell curve shaped back and it's just a hair too short on the back b/c of that

where online have you looked? overstock.com has slipcovers. even for a cheaper one (this one is $40 for the sofa one), it has fairly decent clean lines to it. nothing too drapy/fussy.this one looks okay, and it's a teflon twill, meaning VERY sturdy, stain resistant, etc.]
