my cousin had classes with him at Enloe, and he said that he would have come to State, but Gary Williams showed a lot more interest in him. his srength would've probably gone severly underutilized with Herb's offense...

Tucker is another recruit Herb dropped the ball on

here's good riddance to that type of bullshit

by the way, I have had the pleasure of being dunked on, blocked by, and basically chumped out by both Wilcox and Mike Bell

Wilcox should be playing in Portland with Juan Dixon and Steve Blake - that would be hot

I went to Enloe while Mike Bell and Chrix Wilcox was there. Never had a class with Wilcox but I did have this technology class with Mike Bell. He was always on the 'Loe Down doing crazy dunks, he was tall.

I tutored that fucker in high school (when he was at Whiteville).

He went to Maryland cause they bought his ass. Herb wanted him bad. He was also pretty risky academically.

He's the shit though. I saw some sick ass dunks when he was in high school. I mean damn...that kid can fly.

How did you manage to get on the court at the same time as these guys?

Chris Wilcox is a decent player. I think he was overrated coming out of college. I graduated with him and Mike Bell at enloe. Mother fuckers 6'9 and only does tomma hawks, nothing else. Ive never seen him do any other dunk since Ive known him. Mike Belll on the other hand was nasty. Had moves, 3 ball, and was 6'9.To me, he was underrrated and chris was overrated.

Under Herb, mike diddn't get to grow at all. Then he blew up his knee and that really fucked him. Chris played on an all star team in college. His only contributions were highlight alleys from Juan. His best game came against duke, and that to me got him his ticket to the NBA. He was not a starter.

But lately he has been suprising me with his game play. He did nothing for the clippers (I know he played behind Elton) but now it seems like he is growing and developing some post moves.

^You don't know basketball. Enloe didn't use Chris the way they should have. They had Chris Wilcox and Mike Bell and tried to run the show with their guards. Stupid fucking coach.

Chris is solid as hell in the post and he has great basketball instincts (look at his block and rebound numbers). If they would have given him the ball more in college (but they didn't have to because they had Lonny Baxter), then he would have averaged 20+. Maryland wouldn't have gotten past the Elite 8 without him (remember him completely owning Drew Gooden??? That was ridiculous). He was stuck behind Elton Brand in LA and never got the opportunity to show himself. Now that he's getting minutes, he's showing everyone how good he is.

His athetlice ability is unmatched for someone his size. And his post game is solid.

how the fuck did they try to run the show with the guards?? Do you even know who they were?? We had no good guards!!! Rodney and Brandon sucked, they couldn't run a fucking show. They diddn't even take shots!!!That proves you don't know Enloe Bball like I do. The show was all about Chris and Mike and getting the ball to them. Allen lovette was the best player on that team. Him Chris and Mike stayed on the floor. Coach dicked him.Coach Moore was an asshole, cuz he diddn't believe in TEAM ball. Don't try to tell me dude. I know all about it there! I was apart of that athletic program, and I transfered there just to be apart of it.

Chirs did not have solid post moves. Maybe now, he has developed some. In high school = none. In college = none. Later years in nba= finally some.

Allen Lovett was a GUARD. And he wasn't the best player on the team (seeing that he went to UNC-Asheville and later to Texas Southern while Mike and Chris went to ACC programs might prove that to you). When you've got two 6'9" division I players on your team...you pound it inside and take advantage of mismatches. Chris hated Enloe and that dumb fucking coach.

wow conversation over. Allen Lovette was a 6'6 forward ASSHOLE. I literally grew up with him and Mike Bell. Branden Costin and Rodney (cant remeber his last name), Branden Dunston, were the main rotating starting guards. Don't tell me this dude. I know THIS FOR A FUCKING FACT. The reason why allen went to those smaller schools is b/c he had a reputation for being un-coachable. Plus his size (being 6'6) teams didnt want to gamble with him being a college forward. HE DIDNT HAVE HANDLES TO BE A GUARD!!!! Every one knew this. Allen lovette played for Mt. Zion before he came to Enloe. Thats the whole reason why Chris transfered to Enloe was to play with Mike and Allen. He was able to do this via Brandon Dunston, one of the teams guards. He lived at the dudes house all the way through high school.

Coach Moore was an idiot. He didnt use the guards enough is why we lost in the state finals. Mike and Allen were both injured. They played at about 65-70%. Chris Wilcox got shut out by Marcus Melvin!!!

Its might funny how Allen averaged the team high in pts huh?

Riigghhtt...that's why he played guard in college???

And he was the teams leading scorer because he got the ball to fucking much. They should have been pounding it down low to Chris the whole game. And Chris transferred to Enloe because his mom was fucking one of his AAU coaches who lived in Raleigh (the same coach who had ties to Maryland's coaches). He didn't give a shit about playing with Mike Bell.

*sigh*

chris moms was fuckin some of every body!!!(and that coach you're talking about is Brandon Dunstons dad) I prolly could have hit dat ass if I wanted. I don't give a damn what positition Allen Played in college. He was to small to play forward obviously (wouldn't that tell ya). He 6'6 only weighed about 215 lbs remotely. In h.s he played down low. He was the teams leading rebounder/scorer. Chris Sucked. Everybody on that maryland team went pro damn near. Politics/championships can take you far.

But if he keeps up this recent game play, I might change my mind about his game. 2 good games isn't enough to show me shit.

Leatherneck- I agree on the Mike Bell comment. He had tons more potential in high school after watching him. I actually recorded a video of him in Chavis League where he crossed over two guys coming down the court, a third with a behind the back dribble to his same hand, threw it off the backboard and yammmmmmmed it. The place went nuts. Maybe I have bias because of that one play, but he could dribble, shoot, dunk, etc.

to the dude who said chris hated his coach at enloe. that was his mom's boyfriend and they don't hate each other. i also played against chris and he was lanky like me, then he beefed up. also if you say tucker is an idiot then why is he doing great in school at UT. ok then.

AHAHAHAHAH

That had to be sarcasm.

I mean when an ATHLETE becomes academically ineligble that is saying something. You know athletes don't have to take real courses and that they have tutors do their homework for them, right?
