there are good artists still around...that arent "old" per say...like...Dale Watson, Hank III, The Derailers, Bastard Sons Of Johnny Cash, Scott H Biram, BR5-49, Big Sandy and The Fly Rite Boys, Unknown Hinson, Wayne Hancock, etc.

^^Hank Jr tours some, or at least he did until a few years ago. haven't seen him lately.his concerts range from piss poor to worth seeing, but not stellar (depending on his level of sobriety, i think).merle haggard, johnny cash, willie, waylon, george jones...i love all the old stuff. i like some of the new (or relatively new) Texas stuff like Robert Earl Keen, and some Pat Green.
