How the hell do I do it?? I can't find anyway to setup different backgrounds for each monitor. I've downloaded a program called SWDestop that is suppose to do it but doesn't do jack shit except make the background black on both monitors. Even making one picture span across both monitors would be fine but I haven't found a way to do that either.SO, somebody tell me the obvious thing I am missing. Thanks

Windows can do it without special software. Just put 2 images together in one file and use the "Tile" background option. In fact, I imagine that's what ultramon would do (just assemble the 2 pictures for you and save you the effort).

Are you saying that windows doesn't work the way i described, or that ultramon subclasses the desktop and draws the background itself?

Here's what Windows does with my dual monitor desktop:Centered:Tiled:Stretched:

You have to have an image the size of the resolution of both monitors added together...So if you didn't want it to tile funny and you had a 640x480 and a 1280x1024 you'd make an image that's 1280x1504 (assuming you have the monitors side by side).

no it'd be 1920 x 1024
