For cheap?I know that the weather will once again heat up and I'll need my AC to be working properly.I took my car to my usually reliable mechanic to get the problem fixed. I have a new compressor, a new used condenser, new hose assembly, practically new everything installed into it in order to stop the freon leak.Anyway, I still have a leak somewhere, and my AC won't be the same until it's found and fixed. I started with just the compressor, and I've gradually have had to install everything else because my mechanic kept finding numerous other leaks. I don't want to have to bring it back to him again, because I have a feeling that someone else can take care of this right away without all the hassle (I had my car in the shop for 3 weeks at one point because he was doing the work labor free...which means that I'm the last car on the priority list to be worked on).Help me out here, folks!

Alright. Well I hope his idea of cheap is close to my idea of cheap.

if it's not, then you have an unrealisitic idea of cheap.

Naw, mine isn't too unrealistic.I figure the leak to be easy enough to find...maybe even as simple as something not being tightened enough or a leak that you could fix with some tape. I just don't want to have to spend $60 for an easy fix.If the fix is going to require new parts, I know I'm screwed

95 Chevy CavalierLike I said, I've pretty much have had everything replaced. I'm pretty sure I'm down to 1 leak...2, tops. I could run the AC fine for most of a week before the freon leaks out and I'm forced to get it fixed and refilled again. It may be more of a nay for you. I figure I just need someone to put in that fluorescent stuff that can find the leak. The location of the leak will determine exactly what I need to do next.
