i bet my celica will last longer than ur fuckin jetta. oh yeah and uh im really trying to make it faster u dumb shit... the only thing that is done to it is a pace shitter header bc it was cheaper than buying a new manifold and better gas mileage.

i didnt get a better car, i just got something faster a motorcycle, whenever ur piece of shit jetta wants to race one of my motorcycles im game, plan on having 500hp plus to beat it. KTHX

oh yeah.. my celica is worth let's say 1500-2000, my bike ive invested 3000 in it..including repairing it.. so i have 2 vehicles that run great for 4500-5000.. i bet that is less than ur jetta costs... it would take a couple thousand to even come close to competing with the r6... have fun with that

then get a new diverter valve because the stock one wont last long with that much boost.
next, get a cold air intake.

vw uses a bypass... since there is a maf sensor.

but yeah.. get a new valve (forge makes some good ones), and a chip (theres REVO, GIAC, and APR local).

just make sure you do some research before you decide on any particular thing. and like i said, sign up to those local forums.. all of the ppl that do chipping (at least the ones listed above, the ones that matter) read them regularly and can offer up advice.

1.8t is a nice little motor. it's not going to be "fast" without dumping alot of cash, but you can make it pretty respectable with ~1k. 200whp shouldn't be a problem.
