Where the fuck does this come from?

I have always been curious about this too. It's really not that valuable of information either...team fouls is important, but usually when they show it (late) they are both in the double bonus anyway... time outs remaining? i dont really carepossession arrow? WOW. Brings me to another point. Why do announcer say "the possession arrow penalizes great defense"?Seems to me that 50% of the time it rewards good defense. They already tried the "defense always gets the ball" rule before and it was too damn confusing. Most jumpballs are the result of a loose ball and its hard to determine who the "offensive" player really was.The possession arrow is criticized all the time, despite being a valuable rule. It's much better than doing a jump ball. All that does is penalize guards (who are usually the ones forcing the jump balls)

they should let whoever the team wants jump the ball

this would be a big advantage to ncsu. it seems we always win the jump ball at the beginnings of games.

i believe game reset is just means that relevant info is displayed for the end of the game, not 100%sure though. I do know that they say great def is penalized b/c of the possession arrow, b/c it either results in the other team getting the ball, or stops a fast break opportunity.

the main reason they implemented the "possession arrow over the jump ball" was to save time..it just makes the game faster..

I guess taking away those damn tv timeouts is too much to ask.

Make a new jump ball thread. In particular, the use of the word "reset" is what I am questioning here. It makes no sense.
