~ 10 week old lab/australian shep mix. female. about 10 lbs. incredibly sweet. loves to lick you and be held. very mellow for a puppy. gets along great with other dogs. healthy. dewormed once. no signs of worms in stools. no sign of external parasites. began crate training and house training (making progress) she is a great puppy. she has not been to a vet. however i can send you to one that gives a discount for rescued animals.i along with 2 other crazy girls rescued 8 puppies the other day from the gas chamber.5 has been placed in a rescue organization and are being fostered. 2 others have been placed somewhere else for adoption.i held onto one because a friends boyfriend was interested in her. that fell through.I am willing to give her to a good home. there will be screening involved. i want to make sure she goes to a great home that is going to make a lifelong committment to her.i dont want her to be an impulse decision for someone who will turn around and be bored with her or not willing to spend the money and time puppies and dogs require. the first year of a puppies life will cost you about ~ $400- $600 for vet costs alone plus supplies and food (a few hundred dollars). please consider this.otherwise i will get her into a rescue organization and foster her myself.if you are interested and want to set up a time for us to meet pm me. i have a wedding this weekend but will be available after sunday afternoon.(and please dont turn this thread into any sort of bashing/ opinionated/ trolled/ soapbox thread.)i already realize i've lost my mind. i'm saving the world one puppy at a time.

Great dog. Wish I could take her.Bear in mind also that Australian Shepherds need quite a bit of exercise, so if you don't have a big yard or the will to take her on a decent jog every day, you might want to look elsewhere. There also very smart, which is great if you give them plenty of interaction and things to do, but which is horrible if you'd tend to ignore her.Generally shepherds of any kind are the most rewarding dogs you'll fine, if you can handle them.
