3/22/2006 11:40:06 AM
They didn't have these available during their show on Monday night, which was a disappointment.I was gonna try and find it locally because I wanted the immediate gratification, but I just decided to go ahead and order it online. Thanks for the link. Can't wait to hear it. I've heard good things. [Edited on March 22, 2006 at 1:51 PM. Reason : add]

3/22/2006 8:58:45 PM
god damn righthe is worthlessalsoi like Big Pooh's flow much better when he doesn't rhyme lazy and deliberate as helli thought he had finally gotten away from it, but this tape proved me wrong[Edited on March 23, 2006 at 12:12 AM. Reason : phonte is a always a crowd pleaser, though {no homo}]
3/23/2006 12:07:27 AM
I've always liked Scudda personally.
3/23/2006 7:45:00 PM
^shame on you
3/24/2006 4:05:37 AM
i only liked scudda when he was on the Shieldother than that I can do withouton topic tho, just dl'ed yesterday..im not a LB head but im all about some DJ Drama, so maybe he's made em likeable for me
3/24/2006 8:59:54 AM
the shield. ha i forgot about that. hahahadon't d/l! cop it fool!
3/24/2006 8:00:03 PM
Eh, just heard "Home."Not Scudd's best work.
3/25/2006 7:31:41 PM
good godhe ruined the only single on the minstrel show.
3/25/2006 11:42:28 PM
^ True indeed. totally agree. he ruins and brings everything down several notches including L.E.G.A.C.Y.'S and Big Pooh's first singles. no clue why LB and the rest of JL run w/ that dude when they are obviously superior
3/26/2006 3:33:12 AM
In other news, Khrysis just continues to impress me with his production work. I mean damn...
3/26/2006 7:03:51 PM
I liked the track Median did with Scudda on a mixtape a few years ago. I think it was called A Little Bit or something like that. Besides that, I don't really care for him. I have noticed that Chaundon is appearing on a lot of LB tracks. Is he preparing himself for a record deal?
3/26/2006 10:14:24 PM
you knowI just got on the Foreign Exchange recently some of those cuts on that album are fucking dope
3/26/2006 10:27:21 PM
chaundon has an album w/ L.E.G.A.C.Y. coming out this year entitled the embassy (sp) that's hella dope from what ive heard. they have to finish it up when he gets off tour w/ LBhe also plans to release at least 2 mixtapes 1 ft sean boog and sean price titled best of the seans and then a solo one^ you just got FE? wow son. it was decent to me but not my favorite. only a few tracks i can bare
3/26/2006 11:03:33 PM
yeahI had definitely slept on it five solid cuts, now that I count all of them have a good vibe though
3/26/2006 11:07:00 PM
if that whole crew was from somewhere in Iowa, none of us would think much of them, honestly.I like 9th, and that's about as far as it goes.Everyone else, to me, is marginal, even by mainstream standards.
3/27/2006 1:54:18 AM
^ i beg to differ kind sir
3/27/2006 3:11:35 AM
okyou sit down and look up some cats from Iowa, Oklahoma, Oregon, etc.I bet you can find a Pooh, Phonte, etc.
3/27/2006 3:16:25 AM
oh, joel.
3/27/2006 3:36:30 AM
oki'll give you Big Poohhe has his moments where I am kinda impressed, but mostly he's just a marginal emceebut Phonte?that dude pretty much murders everything he appears in and nawthis is not tied to the fact that he has homefield advantage
3/27/2006 11:28:58 AM
I adore the Connected album.I mean, "Be Allright" is like the theme song for my life.
3/27/2006 2:38:43 PM
^^know what? you're exactly right...
3/27/2006 4:59:11 PM
If I ever saw anyone from Iowa, Oklahoma, Oregon, etc. who could rock a live show like LB, I'd be shocked.
3/27/2006 5:15:05 PM
finally got this in the mail today and given it one listen. and i mostly likely it minus dj drama who sucks. would have been better if it was just another HOJ release like the chittlin circuit series.^ what does location have anything to do w/ the ability to rock a stage? if you can do it then you can do it. plan and simple.the only group i know from Oregon is Lightheaded (Othello/Braille/Ohmega Watts) and they are dope and coincidently have done 2-3 tracks with 9th.i would like JL if i knew they exsisted regardless if they were from here or there. location isn't the reason i like any of them and shouldnt be a factor to overcomei am sure there are other dope mc's equal to or better than phonte and pooh in other parts of the country that nobody has heard of yet just like there are other inflows doing their own thing. thats the nature of the game. dope beats and dope ryhmes. what more do you want
3/27/2006 6:33:14 PM
3/27/2006 7:11:57 PM
ima ride wit joel on this oneif they werent from the triangle, most people on here wouldnt be biggin them up as much as they do around here
3/27/2006 7:29:37 PM
maybe maybe not.good music is good music regardlessbut yeah some of their fanbase only likes them or pays attention b/c they are home grown but thats not exactly a bad thing. you gott support your own.
3/27/2006 8:01:13 PM
thats funny because people from all over the US get down on LB on various boards talking about their shows and how dope they are
3/27/2006 11:03:11 PM
shiti wish ya'll heads on here would get me on some shit that fucks with them from another areatruthfully thoughi gave my fair listens to thisstill not that impressed
3/28/2006 1:08:45 AM
the fucking hell?i come on here talkin bout how they're not that fantastic, and you kids think i don't like em.i'm just not diggin through my library every day trying to hear Minstrel Show and callin up kids back home to tell em it's the next big thingi never once said I didn't like em...just that it's another good rap group, basically.
3/28/2006 1:21:30 AM
i definitely wouldn't dig through the crates for The Minstrel Show eitheri think it was overratedThe Listening, on the other hand, is a whole different storyshit is a classic
3/28/2006 1:29:34 AM
I really like The ListeningHell, I like CC1.5 twice as much as Minstrel Show
3/28/2006 1:30:20 AM
gracias
3/28/2006 1:32:41 AM
whoa! i am quite the opposite. I never liked the listening all that much and still to this day dont like it. They were my least favorite members of JL and took me awhile to come around to liking them and I prefered them solo for the most part before MS came out. That album is my joint. I listened to it more in 1 day that I listened to the listening in 4 years
3/28/2006 2:15:46 AM
3/29/2006 3:55:30 PM
^ what is this we have herewhen was this taken? where? and what song/project is being worked on[Edited on March 29, 2006 at 5:57 PM. Reason : oops]
3/29/2006 5:56:22 PM
I think another reason why everybody is all over Little Brother is because they rock a show like nobody's business. I mean come on when Phonte came out as Percy Miracles at that last Cat's Cradle show, that was classic.
3/29/2006 7:10:32 PM
NIGGAS HEARD PETEY ONE TIMENOW EVERYBODY THINK WE WAVE OUR SHIRTS LIKE HELICOPTORS
4/19/2006 11:05:30 PM
I'm a little late, but this album is RIDICULOUSdefinitely my favorite album of the year so far
6/28/2006 4:19:01 PM
Black fold sayin i'm too intelligentandWhite folks sayin i'm a little too niggerish
6/28/2006 7:54:38 PM
Black folks saying that I'm too intelligent/and white folks saying that I'm a little too niggerish/and got me in a strange predicament/...because I ain't shuckin, and cause I ain't jivin', some of these crackers won't stand beside me/and cuz I ain't killin' and don't support pimpin', some of these niggas wanna call me a Cosby/Well, I'll be that dude/ I'll scratch that itch/ I'll play that role/ Call me Heathcliff bitch/

7/1/2006 1:25:40 AM
Been checking out SBE the past couple of days. I'm lukewarm on it, thats all.
7/1/2006 3:34:40 PM
I hope they didn't spell it wrong on the album cover and liner notes.
7/1/2006 6:23:22 PM
Is it necessary to insert the harsh gangstaaaaa greeeeeaasssyyy in every fucking song? I hate DJs that do that shit and its some shit I expect on a mix tape or something. Leave it off a studio recording, it just fucks up my buzz when I'm trying to cool out to this smooth shit and this clown has gangstaaaaa greeeeeaasssyyy popping up every 10 seconds.[Edited on July 14, 2006 at 10:42 PM. 7/14/2006 10:42:14 PM
