I heard this yesterday on 850 the buzz as I was driving home...This year was the 53rd ACC tournament, of the 53 years, 3 times the ACC could not play in the NCAA tournament because of violations ( it was a long time ago)... that leaves 50 ACC tournaments champions with Duke being the 50th this year... Of the 49 previous champions, 24 went to the Final four in the NCAA and statistic that is truely amazing...So if Duke reaches this year the ACC will be an amazing 50%, 25 out of 50...[Edited on March 18, 2006 at 3:35 PM. MY 1000th post... figured id do it in my own thread and not make a new oneoh and i guess the ACC is now 24 out of 50... so only 48% of our conference champions have made it to the final four...

Anyone with March Madness '06 knows this because Dickie V says it before EVERY ACC tournament Championship game.
