They "averaged" 51,000 last year supposedly. It seats 60. They really averaged about 20,000 last year.

the only time they've had a 60k sellout recently have been for Wisconsin in 2005 and State for 2004. for Duke this year, their supposed rival, only 50,000 showed up. and we all know how suspect UNC's attendance figures have been in past years.

If they actually did have 50k fans for the duke game (Im sure the #'s were off) then that is respectable since both programs suck (had losing seasons)

I mean State has had a couple of bad seasons in a row, and I'm wondering why the hell we even built the extra seats. But then again, season tickets had a long ass waiting list here. Its not like its hard to get UNC football tickets. WOW, just wow.

slightly off topic, but i remember when unc was going through some rough bball years with doherty there was a ncsu game at unc on tv. there were so few unc fans there, and so many ncsu fans there, that you could hear a loud roar of "WOLF" "PACK" in the smith center.

I sold 2 extra tickets to the unc/state game this year to a state fan. Dude showed up 10 minutes into the first half with his girlfriend, they fussed about how close everyone had to stand together, and then never came back after halftime.

Unfortunately, even for the tarhole game, we had some empty seats during the best part of the game.

And who is the tool way ^^^^ who said we lost to them in football this year??
