i'd assume food is covered in the $1000...and you would also pay for any vet care that was needed outside of the $1000? or is that included as well??

It's very likely that I'd be game.Starting in May we'll be able to have dogs where I live, I love dogs (work at a fucking pet store, for chrissakes), and could use the dough.[Edited on March 16, 2006 at 11:41 PM. Reason : ]

I have a fenced in back yard(about an acre) and a 8 year old female lab and 2 year old lab/great pyr. mix that would love to play with him. I will also be around most of the day during the summer. Is the payment up front? Will you provide food as well? How old is he and does he get along well with other dogs. PM me or my AIM=GetLcky11.Kyle

vet cost is not included...if he would have to go to the vet i would pay for that on top of the $1000

i did not know dogs could babysit??
3/17/2006 5:40:04 PM
^ i didn't know people could make such lame jokes

i and most other petsitters charge at least 25 dollars per daynormally i get 40-50so 4500 is the minimum any respectable pet sitter will charge for 6 months
3/17/2006 6:40:50 PM
im not looking for a professional dogsitter...im lookin for someone who loves dogs and wouldnt mind watching him for a little extra money

A grand is quite possibly more than I would charge.I need enough for food, enough for any pet deposit (hasn't been negotiated yet), and a little bit extra just 'cause I'm broke. If I had a little more cash, that wouldn't even be necessary -- as long as I broke even, I'd be happy. I love dogs, I've wanted one for a while but the landlord has been a dick at the current house (not the one I'll have in June), and I don't want to get one permanently right now because I'll probably be out of the country after next year.So this deal works out ideally for me -- I'll have a dog for almost exactly the right amount of time, and it won't even cost me a lot. Plus, one of my roomates will have a Golden, so your pooch will have a buddy.I could not beg/ass-kiss enough to get in on this. It is, like I say, ideal. So competition, plz to go away.

If you don't find anyone else, i would do it, but i won't take it away from someone else who really needs it. i love doggies

if suede contacts you, by all means, choose her. If matt's mom weren't such a willing dogsitter, we'd use suede ALL the time.
