Not hard at all. Go through the prac exam on the CD they give you when you register. Some of the test questions were the exact same ones. I'd brush up on Access, because most ppl don't know it. The next hardest one is probably Excel b/c you can do so much... but it doesn't deal much in the way of formulas. I think like averaging and summing up cells.

If you've never used Access, it's tough.

They gave me some website to go to when I took it in 2003 (I've heard this may not still be available...) and the website has "practice tests" that look almost identical to the real deal

I spent 4 hours the night before just doing as many practice probs. as I could and I passed it w/ like 85% correct, most of my errors on Access junk.

They let you use the Help option on each program. I really only know the basics of the programs (except for Access which I know nothing about.) I did not study at all and still passed.

test wasnt that bad. snuck out barely passing... not bad for never using half the stuff on there or even studying.

are the questions very basic? any particular ones that you remember being hard or unintuitive? is the exam interface just like the one on the cd with that stupid flash animation?

^ My exam was exactly like the practice versions.

No questions were super hard...if you actually DO the practice tests you'll at least get a passing grade.

^^yes, just do the practice problems. Probably 75% of them came directly from the test CD.

i only see a 10 question sample test that covers all (word, pp, excel, access). i see theres questions under each chapter of the stuff but some of the chapter training's are like 50 topics long. thats gay

heres the trick, they allow you to have the help on the programs open while taking the test, so the programs will tell you the answers if you know what to ask them. When each question comes up it tells you the question bank and topic it came from, if you copy and paste that into the help it most of the time gave me the answer, and i have no idea how to use access.

Ok im stressing over this big time cause if I dont pass this tomorrow then I dont graduate next month. Ive been studying powerpoint for 2 hours and Im wondering if they ask the easy questions or the hard ones. Some are stupidly complex and some are common sense.
