so i did that columbia house dvd gimic thing to get a couple dvds for cheap a little while ago. i paid for these with a credit card that has been changed by my bank because it was "comprised" recently. so would i have to still buy those "5 dvds at regular price" to complete that stupid scam now that they cannot automatically charge me? has anybody had experiences with them or will it affect my credit report??

Its not worth fucking up your credit over such a minimal amount of money. Pay the $9 per DVD and move on.

You're going to have to buy those dvd's. It's damn near impossible to get out of otherwise. One of my roommates went through the same thing and was dealing with them for about 2 years before he about signed off and just bought them all to axe the contract.

If you live in a dorm, send them cash or money order, dont give your real name, and have your address as your room, as long as it changes every year, you can pull this shit every time.
