Anyone have a favorite driving range in Raleigh? I heard some good things about the one on the other side of the city, but that's it.

I always went to the one in Cary called Lochmere (or something). they actually let you hit off the grass sometimes [Edited on March 11, 2006 at 10:50 PM. Reason : http://www.lochmere.com/]

double post[Edited on March 12, 2006 at 1:42 AM. Reason : k]
knights play is good, but i usually go to falls driving complex off of falls of neuse road. it's way up in north raleigh but they usually have an area where you can hit from the grass.

A lot of the time, Knights Play will have half the range hitting off mats and the other half off grass (there's a net in the middle, of course...)

^that one is fun. if you slice it, it goes out on the highway

There's one off of either 70 or 401 (forget which) in the northwest corner of Raleigh. However, it's farther away than Knight's Play and not as nice.

^^no, you have to hook it to hit the highway...unless you are left handed, then you have to slice it
