so i dropped my cellphone in a creek and it worked for about 15 minutes after that and then died...some people told me it might start working again. could this be true or are there any ways to fix it?

you should have immediately turned it off and let it dry for future reference....the water itself does not hurt the phone...but when its on and wet...some of the components short out
