Any Pro CD will work, if your key is legit.

Just borrow someones. It's your key that matters.

Are you kidding?

Take the .iso and combine it with a .Net framework .bin and then convert the whole thing to .mds.

After that, open it with winzip and compress it to ~490mbs.

Once the compression is done, adjust your burner rotation speed to 12x, then burn the ISO using SafeDisk 4.0 encryption in order for BIOS to recognize the OS CD.

Then it's smooth sailing.

no

media can be different. Some OEM media wont except anything but keys from that OEM, volume liscence media wont accept OEM liscences, etc...

you can try whatever media you downloaded to see if it works. If it doesn't you'd need to either borrow or purchase the media from someone. Last time i checked you could call up microsoft and they'd replace your lost disk for $15 if your key is legit.

One other thing you might try tho is seeing if you can use nlite to create a new iso from the one you have which will work with your key.

not so much: here are the different versions of windows that (in my experience) don't share key codes

1) OEM
2) Volume
3) Upgrade
4) Retail
5) Academic

what you need is the windows 9 in 1 cd. Has a ton of different versions, your key code should work on one of those versions (where did it come from?)

Heres the 9 in 1:

and if you're lying about having a key use this one
