I've done some eVC++/MFC development for WM2002/WM2003, but its been several years, i havent touched any WM5.0 stuff

Thanks for the reply...this WM5.0 is a huge update to MFC on the pocketPC and has been a major PIA so far. Anyways I've got all my source compiling properly however I'm getting alot of CWinApp assertions and the application fails to launch. I have a support id submitted with Microsoft so we'll see if they can help out but I wasn't sure if anyone has had experience with WM5.0 yet.

Seems as though alot of ppl are having issues porting because of all the changes. Its nice the VS2005 now is the main enviornment and you don't have to run multiple tools but man some of the changes/deprications were pretty pointless
