i forget how i fixed this in the past

i have divx and the codec

i tried playing it within divx but an error comes up

is there another reliable player out there that could probably play this movie?

my solution for all of these issues is always download PowerDVD.

Seems like if you have powerdvd and divx installed, everything and it's brother works. In WMP and errything else
