FUCK IT, RIGHT ABOUT NOW, ID TAKE THE RUNNING RETARD[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 5:55 PM. Reason : insert "DUURRR EVEN BETTER LETS LET U COACH" comment]
3/4/2006 5:54:17 PM
Never happen. Won't leave Zaga. Bruce Pearl. There's no one I want more. I'm going to die and go to heaven if Lee Fowler even so much as attempts to call him discussing the position. I'd literally cream myself
3/4/2006 5:55:51 PM
are you a fucking moronyou think pearl is gonna leave UTjesus christ people
3/4/2006 5:56:25 PM
cash rules everything around me.
3/4/2006 5:56:39 PM
Yeah.... I bet Pearl wouldn't leave an SEC football school for an ACC Tobacco Road school....especially considering we have twice the talent
3/4/2006 5:57:14 PM
Skip Prosser!!!
3/4/2006 5:57:28 PM
god damnyou are a moronthanks for proving it
3/4/2006 5:57:37 PM
What is so moronic about it? Buyout?
3/4/2006 5:59:19 PM
FEW HAD PREVIOUSLY SAID HE HAD INTEREST IN COACHING IN THE ACCONCE MORRISON LEAVES, IT WOULD MAKE SENSE FOR HIM
3/4/2006 6:03:50 PM
1. this is first year at UT2. he's turned the program around pretty damn quick3. the SEC has PLENTY of basketball tradition4. the fans love him5. the players love him6. the administration loves him7. he has a great recruiting class coming in9. we aren't gonna pay for him10. herb won't get fired
3/4/2006 6:03:58 PM
NO WAY PEARL LEAVESFEW WOULD BE A BETTER COACH FOR US ANYWAYS[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:06 PM. Reason : NOT TO MENTION HIS TEAMS ALWAYS SHOW CHARACTER AND BEAT TEAMS THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO]
3/4/2006 6:05:30 PM
I HOPE WE GET MICHAEL JORDAN
3/4/2006 6:06:13 PM
ID BE HAPPY WITH THAT
3/4/2006 6:07:10 PM
3/4/2006 6:07:25 PM
OR MAYBE DEAN SMITH WHAT'S HE UP TO THESE DAYS
3/4/2006 6:07:49 PM
after being in the middle of UT fans today and watching them surround and praise his every last move after the Vandy game, he won't leave. They love him, he loves them...He fits in way too well with their obnoxious fan base. Ok enough ranting...I'd like to see Few though
3/4/2006 6:08:01 PM
^^^ THAT 1 FUCKING TIME YEATHEY DONT BLOW LEADS VS TEAMS AND ALSO WILL ACTUALLY PLAY THEIR BEST AGAINST BETTER OPPONENTS
3/4/2006 6:09:15 PM
3/4/2006 6:09:21 PM
UW-M is a mid major school no one had ever heard ofUT, is notyour comparisons of the two are not valid
3/4/2006 6:10:52 PM
3/4/2006 6:12:42 PM
I realize that... but face it, UT isn't a college basketball mecca. Not saying State is... but it's certainly a step up from Tennessee. They have nice facilities and a solid fanbase, but the SEC isn't a conference where kids grow up dreaming to play in. At least, basketball-wise. I agree... not going to happen. Not this year at least. I'd like for us to make a push for him a few years down the road if the Herb thing doesn't work out (And I wanted him last year before he went to Tennessee)
3/4/2006 6:13:45 PM
FEW IS A BETTER COACH THAN PEARL
3/4/2006 6:14:39 PM
see, this is the problem you guyswe aren't a step up from tennesseenot at all20 years ago we werebut now we aren't shitwe don't deserve shitstop pretending we do
3/4/2006 6:14:52 PM
NC State is a much better job than you think...especially consdering the talent we have here now (vs. when Herb started). We're no Duke or UNC, but we're a very high profile job. We are a step up from Tennessee.
3/4/2006 6:17:23 PM
3/4/2006 6:17:46 PM
think about what pearl has at UTwhat about our program is so damn tantalizing that he'd be willing to leavewtf do we have that makes it a very high profile job
3/4/2006 6:19:44 PM
what a stupid threadif we go after anyone, it should be someone from a clearly lesser conference. i dont want to take someone who might run the risk of getting us in trouble. i dont care what that sweaty guido is doing right now, i dont want to risk getting nailed down the line. same goes for kelvin sampson and john calipari, if we want a coach that wont graduate players, we might as well get huggins and make it entertaining. i dont know who the hell we could get right now though and not lose a step. maybe bob knight, thats the only person that might keep us on the level we're at and get us to not tank like this.
3/4/2006 6:25:00 PM
3/4/2006 6:25:28 PM
READ MY FUCKING POSTI NEVER SAID PEARLI SAID FEW
3/4/2006 6:25:55 PM
we have an infinitely greater chance at getting knight than we do pearl1% - 0%
3/4/2006 6:26:06 PM
Pearl has won everywhere he's been. Iowa, Southern Indiana, UMW, Tennessee. That's nothing new. In case you didn't know, coaches have the desire to be the best and play with the best.... We have two national championships, 10 ACC Championships, one of the nicest arenas in college basketball (As does Tennessee, admittedly), we're in the ACC... a Tobacco Road school....in a conference with the most talent (both coaching and players) in the nation. It would be a lot tougher here, but it's also a much better position[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:27 PM. Reason : ]
3/4/2006 6:26:24 PM
I DONT FUCKING WANT BRUCE PEARL
3/4/2006 6:26:49 PM
no one knows we have national titlesno one knows we have ACC titleseveryone knows we sucked for a decade everyone knows we have been top 25 for the past 4 yearseveryone knows we don't stand a chance against UNC or dukebruce pearl doesn't give a fuck about state
3/4/2006 6:27:57 PM
dude, forget it...herb is here to stay.
3/4/2006 6:28:33 PM
As if the administration gives a flying fuck what you want!
3/4/2006 6:28:50 PM
You're right. The ACC isn't "THE" conference to play in or coach in. What was I thinking.
3/4/2006 6:29:20 PM
LETS JUST LET CHUCK AMATO COACH BASKETBALL LOL^if thats the case....then why didnt Rick Barnes leave Texas for VIrginia last year when he was offered the job supposedly? UVa's getting a new arena soon, too.[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:31 PM. Reason : .]
3/4/2006 6:29:48 PM
yeah its notnot when you've got it made in the SECwhy come here and struggle when you can dominate where you are
3/4/2006 6:30:06 PM
I'm game.Maybe he could light into our players asses for being so stupid. Actually, wait. His players are stupid, too
3/4/2006 6:30:28 PM
i mean, at least he will yell a lot and wear crazy shit.i mean, thats what sets Pearl apart from a guy like Few, right?
3/4/2006 6:32:59 PM
except that few has a record of graduating all his players (eventhough yes it is in a lesser conference) and a record of having no disciplinary issueshe is classy and is probably the best coach out there to take over for us
3/4/2006 6:34:30 PM
i would like few as a coachbut i'm not ready to fire herb yet
3/4/2006 6:35:28 PM
you must like painyou know duke and unc fans love our coachbecause as long as he's here, even with superior talent, they know we basically have no chance vs them[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:37 PM. Reason : .]
3/4/2006 6:36:08 PM
im shocked a Pac-10 team hasnt jumped on him yet...hey, is Mike Montgomery in danger of getting fired in the NBA? i dont follow the pros.
3/4/2006 6:36:25 PM
^ I was wondering the same thing a few days ago. I don't follow the NBA at all eitherI'm nearly positive Few said he would never leave Gonzaga. I mean, so did Roy Williams in regards to Kansas, but from what I understand Few has been pretty adamant about staying... you think other teams haven't approached him before about leaving?
3/4/2006 6:38:27 PM
i don't care much for painbut i do appreciate the fact that he has completely turned our program around and continues to improve every year
3/4/2006 6:38:39 PM
like i said, few said last year if he had another choice of where to be, itd be in the ACCi was mentioning this while every mindless ncsu moron had herb's penis in their mouth[Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:39 PM. Reason : ^ we did not improve this year, we regressed][Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:40 PM. Reason : and anyways, he is a horrible coach]
3/4/2006 6:39:18 PM
where did few say thati'm not doubting you, i'd just like to see it
3/4/2006 6:40:06 PM
god i gotta look through last years post's of mine
3/4/2006 6:40:37 PM
I got it Nate McMillan comes home to coach his son, who is about to commit to NC State. Just like Press Maravich coming to coach his son.... and we all know how that worked out [Edited on March 4, 2006 at 6:43 PM. Reason : and this is a joke, btw]
