has anyone taken this? what is it like...is it easy and what are the assignments?

I think it is a relatively new course. I would encourage you to talk to the professor and see what he is planning for the course. Given that it is a 400 level course, I would not expect it to be easy. 400 levels are designed to be challenging and giving you the best preparation for succeeding in that area. Since retail itself is not easy, I would doubt this course would be either. If it were, it would not be adequately preparing you for what lies ahead.

I'm in the class now and I like it - though I think "easy" and "hard" are subjective so i'm not going to comment on that subject.

At the end of the day, if you have a genuine interest in the material, you're usually more interested in studying and therefore find the course easier - I'd suggest taking it if you're interested in Retail Management.
