Well it depends....is the trapezoid the base or is it a face?

if it is a face then it is from a pyramid that has had part of the top cut off

There are four faces with trapezoids. The top and bottom are squares. Opposite sides have equivalent trapezoids but all four sides are not equal.

I guess the better question is, what is the name of the shape I just described?

truncated tetrahedron


Well, that usually means that all four points of a tetrahedron are truncated, not just one....

you mean a shape like a hershey's chocolate?

i'd call it trapezoidal prism
