If State and BC are both 11-5 and Carolina is either 12-4 or 10-6, then Boston College gets the tie-breaker over State based on record against common opponents. Neither beat the #1 team, but Boston College's 1-0 record against Carolina trumps State's 0-2 record.

^so, unless both BC and unc lose, we are going to get the 4 seed[Edited on February 26, 2006 at 9:26 PM. Reason : honestly id rather play duke in the semis than unc]

Ideally, UNC loses to UVA and Duke, BC wins out, we beat Wake - that would put us at #3 with BC #2 making them our likely semifinal opponentRealistically, UNC beats UVA, BC wins out, doesnt matter what State does against Wake - State #4 with Duke #1 being likely semifinal opponentBut the top 4 seeds probably will not make it to the semis.....someone is going to get upset on Friday (State being the most likely) and may be more than one team being upset. Teams like Miami and UVA with strong guard play can make a strong run. Should be a fun weekend.
