i graduated in dec 2005 and they sent me this on feb 2, 2006

Quote :
"Congratulations on your recent graduation from NCSU! As a new graduate, we
have extended four months of "graduate" access to your Unity account to help
in your endeavors to find employment. This access alone will not allow you
to perform a regular login from machines on campus, but will allow you to
use email and web services and to "FTP" or "ssh" to your account directory.
If you are continuing your studies at NCSU and are registered for classes this
semester or you are currently working for the University, your current Unity
account access will not be affected. If you have any questions about your account
access, feel free to call our help desk at 515-HELP or email "help@ncsu.edu".

Although you may have full login access now, the "fall" groups will be dropped
after February 20th and if you are not currently employed on campus or
registered for spring classes, you will lose the ability to login from
machines on campus (although you will still be able to use email and web
services, ssh, FTP, etc.). As the "graduate" access you've just been extended
limits your login privileges, we wanted to give you some warning that this
will occur. Your graduate access will expire 6/06/06, so please mark your
calendars and be sure to copy off any files from your Unity directory that
you wish to keep BEFORE that date. Also, be aware that we can set up
an email forwarding on your Unity account to forward your email to an
alternate address for five months after your "graduate" access expires.
To set up a forwarding, please send mail FROM YOUR UNITY ACCOUNT to
"help@ncsu.edu" and include the alternate email address and the date you
would like the forwarding to begin.

We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Regards,
Information Technology
Computing Services
North Carolina State University"
