There are a lot of questions here.If you're the guy that's doing this install, I'd seriously reconsider. You really don't want your first server setup to be for a paying client.

My few dealing with HP business support have generally been positive. I would trying communicating between your client, you and HP before showing up to do the job. Pre-Consultation ... maybe?
