if you get more than $200 for this bikei'll be amazed

it was $550 new, plus $100 pedals and wheels, it's got some wear and tear, but it's a solid bike and $200 would be a steal.

what's the frame height?
2/23/2006 12:23:04 AM
i think it's 28"
2/23/2006 1:23:26 AM
^I'd think again if I were you. That would be fucking HUGE. 18" would be more like it.
2/23/2006 10:09:40 AM
was it fitted for you? and if so how tall are you (since 28" isn't likely)
2/23/2006 10:48:37 AM
yeah it's 18".

sorry to burst your bubble, but $200 is a good price for this bike. No one will pay much more than that for it. Look at similar bikes on ebay and you'll see how bikes depreciate in value (btw, the prices on there are often inflated by people bidding on their own items).

I'd hardly consider an eBay price to be inflated.Especially considering the shipping will be $50+ most of the time.

^I'm talking about the price alone, not including shipping. Yeah, since ebay reaches a larger audience prices are going to be higher than he could get selling his bike locally (simple economics). Plus, there are people that cheat by having a friend bid up the price to artificially inflate it. I've seen plenty of bikes "sold" for a price much higher than what is reasonable only to magically reappear in another auction a week later. So you do have to take ebay with a grain of salt.
