2/20/2006 9:22:10 AM

2/20/2006 10:22:33 AM

they are FAKES!!! [Edited on February 20, 2006 at 12:03 PM. Reason : .]

def. fakes...why else would you sell them on here instead of just returning them for a full refund
2/20/2006 12:04:19 PM
they are good fakes. but fakes none the less.
2/20/2006 12:07:56 PM
um yeah.... belk's and those places def dont give u the plastic.
2/20/2006 12:15:11 PM
they were bought off of ebay, and they are 100% authentic
2/20/2006 12:15:26 PM
^ most ebay sellers have a 100% guarantee that its authentic so just tell the seller the truth that they are fake and you want your money back. Its a lot easier than trying to sell them here.[Edited on February 20, 2006 at 12:41 PM. Reason : ]

I can't find fault in the orange one... it could actually be real. This, however, is fake as shit
2/20/2006 12:46:14 PM
Anyone besides me catch how the two chest emblems look different (The tail)?I know the green one isn't real. The orange one probably is fake, but it's a much better fakeOther things I've noted on the green one: 1) Lacoste shirts never...ever...say "Lacoste" (Or anything else) on the buttons2) Lacoste shirt buttons are made with mother of pearl finish... which is not found on the green oneIf the orange one is really fake, someone did a really good job on it. About the only other way to tell if it is would be too feel the material. (As far as I know... unless somene can spot something else)I'd like to read the back of the inside tag on the Orange one... right above the left hip there's a care tag that on the back should read "machine wash warmno bleachmedium hot ironno dry cleaningdo not tumble dry*DEVANLAY* "Some fake's have the "Devanlay" on them, but most dont. That's a good indicator if it's real or not as well. If it does say "Devanlay", it doesn't automatically prove it's real... but it's a good way to rule out if it is fake... Writing on buttons = fakeNo mother of pearl finish...and the fact that the buttons are plastic = fakeCompare that to the orange one... which is either real or a much much better fake[Edited on February 20, 2006 at 1:28 PM. FWIW: The emblem on the green one is also way too far off to the left as well. (I'm just looking at these photos way too hard, I guess)
2/20/2006 1:33:53 PM
WHO THE FUCK CARES. And why would someone look so far into clothing? I just don't get it. It keeps you from being naked...as long as you aren't blinding someone with your inability to coordinate, why on EARTH does it matter if it's fake/real/etc.
2/20/2006 2:01:17 PM
damn, i didn't even realize all that, i tried getting my money back, but that didn't work too well, secondly, i looked, and the orange one has all the charachteristics of being real, however the green one is def a fake. Either way, they are both still for sale...

of course it matters if its fake or real. Why would people pay market prices for fakes?? Anyway, i have the advantage of being able to buy lacoste polo's in India before they get shipped out,. so for a much cheaper price. In fact i could probably hook some folks up next time i go back, which is in Decemeber prolly. You need to get your money back man, ebay is usually good at that stuff, just find the seller's description that says "authentic lacoste" or something like that.
2/20/2006 2:25:54 PM
so is anybody willing to pay for these?
2/20/2006 6:36:35 PM
$5 for both
2/20/2006 6:51:57 PM
10 for the confirmed real one
2/20/2006 8:53:36 PM
higher please
2/21/2006 11:54:24 AM
are new lacoste men's polos still cut the same way as old ones? i've got an ancient one (probably 30+ years old) that's really comfortable and fits me better than my collection of ralph laurens.
2/21/2006 12:12:49 PM
i dunno bout that, any more bids on the orange one?the green one is gone
2/22/2006 3:03:39 PM
the orange one is fake too...lacoste shirts write hte size on the tag...40 is not a size...the largest size they make is 9, which is a XXXL...i know b/c i have 3 real ones. you get what you pay for...fake shirts cost less than $72...i'd say $10 per shirt is fair
