so i have been thinking about this for awhile, but i am finally posting it b/c i think it is a nice contrast w/ rally's thread

anyway:

think over the last 10 yrs and the most hated players for most state fans (or for me at least)

steve blake but not juan dixon
caner-medley but not stawberry

jj reddick but not shelden williams as much
kris lang moreso than jason capel

hansbrough more than May

hurle/laettner more than grant hill

montross/zwikker more than jamison/carter


it seems that white players spark more hate for me than black players, is this just a coincidence? also, is this a trend or am i alone?

well i was talking about it w/ a friend and thinking maybe it is b/c you EXPECT black players to come in and whup ass but when you see a white player do it, it just seems out of place and inspires hate.

similar to rally's thread in that in the cases that evtimov/brack may be overrated while ced/cam will be underrated is b/c you dont expect this white guy to do this. notice that brack tends to get bigger ovations for making a 3 or dunking in alot of cases.

but i could be completely offbase, its really all relative

Wow, never thought about it but the trend is definitely there. I think it has something to do with white guys totally sucking at looking like a badass. "Douchebag" is definitely the best word.
