The usual. Carolina has a ton. Duke has a few, but one who should have never sniffed the game (COUGH*JUST LIKE BOETANG*COUGH), and State has none. Doesn't matter. Jon Scheyer of dook definitely got in based on reputation. He's a top-50 player.
2/18/2006 9:52:18 AM
Scheyer can play. The two guys GT signed from this game are studs. I've heard they could be two of the better players on the court that night. GT could be tough next year. What year are Morrow and Frederick?I like the guys who we'll have coming in.... Davis, Werner, and Horner are all good lookin prospects who kind of went "under the radar". Werner and Horner especially. Ferguson should really help us out at the point as well. I just wish we had someone in this game so I would watch it. I don't care anything about watching it without any of our guys. The dunk contest isn't bad though.[Edited on February 18, 2006 at 10:08 AM. Reason : 5]

Scheyer can play, but he's definitely got picked to the McDonald's game due to his dook committment. Thadeous Young almost went to UNC, but they ran out of scholarships.

a mcD's all american is going to baylor?! wtf...is he trying to get murdered
2/18/2006 3:08:46 PM
So next year, Duke and Carolina will each have 6 or 7 McD's All Americans on their roster and we've got what, one? Costner is the only one I can think of and he's been injured all of this year. Now that I think about it, Herb gets more out of his unheralded bunch than K or Roy get out of their elite players. You would think they'd have won more than one championship each in the past 10 years the way they get so many AllAmericans through their program.

^keeping thing in perspective, Casey Sanders, Niel Fingleton, Jason Capel, and Kris Lang were all mcdaas too
