My cousin decided to go out and buy a pet mouse. Well, she neglected it for about 3 days and decided she didn't want it anymore. She's not the most decent person. Well, I, being an animal lover, took this little guy in. He's really cute and has a great temperament, and I've even gotten him to take food from my hand tonight. I was just wondering if anyone on here knew anything about mice. I think I know the basics. I read some stuff online about diet and stuff, but I would love it if anyone else had any valuable information. We went to Petsmart today and bought him a cage, a rolly ball thing, a wheel, a water bottle, a food dish, a bed, and food. He's pretty set up, but I want to learn as much about him as I can. Any information would be helpful! Thanks!

You should sell it to someone to feed to their snake.

just make sure he always has water and food. they like soft stuff to bed down in, too, but don't give him socks. i gave my gerbils some socks, and they got the elastic tangled around feet, and it wasn't easy to get it cut off. i recommend kleenex. aspen bedding is good, gives them a little to chew on. clean it about once every 3-4 weeks, or whenever the dust/smell gets bad. toilet paper tubes are good, gives them a place to hide, chew on, and they're cheap. umm yep. don't feed him to a snake!
