Is there anyone who did well in (or is in the class now) philosophy of law that could possibly help me out before the first test; help me go over some concepts and notes.

Your chances would be greatly increased by adding some pics to your profile.

NO thanks! I would rather just have somebody who is interested in helping just to help, not somebody who is interested in looks.

as a philosophy major I can respect levenbook, but still not do great in her class. I think I pulled a B in the class (although early on I was so worried that I switched it to credit only). I think I probably got a decent grade and understood the stuff better because I had less stress on the grade. its been several years since I had the class so I don't remember most of the specific, otherwise I'd try to offer more assistance.

Thanks Supplanter, I appreciate the info. Do you think you might be able to help me prepare for the first test, or do you not remember anything at all? I am just looking for somebody to study with who can give me some pointers on how to do well (I am not great with tests that I cannot spend a lot of time on).

Eh...it's been about a year and a half since I had that class. I thought the material was tough, but when the tests came around, I ended up knowing it better than I thought I did.

It's definitely a class where you have to take good notes and attend class. I think I got a B+ in the class and put forth decent effort. Study the big topics..because the essay questions are KEY.

its been 2 or 3 years since a class that i struggled with even then... i'm afraid all i have left to offer is encouragement. although if there were one or two specifc ideas you were having trouble with you could post about them and i might be able to look them up, or others who use this board answer.
