I'm selling a 30" SAMSUNG HDTV w/ a warranty. If you're looking to make an investment into your first "real" TV, then this is a great oppurtunity. It's just way more TV than I need. TV specs can be found here:http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Samsung-30-SlimFit-HDTV-TX-R3079WH-/sem/rpsm/oid/120404/catOid/-12868/rpem/ccd/productDetail.doInfo about the warranty plan can be found here:http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Search.do?c=1&context=&keyword=cityadvantage&searchSection=All#ca1The warranty is $150 dollars in itself. The TV retails for $850 at Circuit City ($900 at BestBuy). If you bought it new it would be over $1050 after tax. I bought it in June. It's in excellent condition. I'll part with it for $650. You have to pick it up. Remember it has a warranty.

no, it doesnt. i looked at this tv when i was buying my today. i decided to go with the panasonic 30in hdtv from CC. they stopped selling it though and i got $300 off (was $900 down to $600). all these CRT hdtv's only do 1080i native. they will take 720p broadcasts and upscale to 1080i but they do not show 720p natively.

they dont sell the panasonic anymore. but here's a link to it...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009JFFIE/sr=1-1/qid=1140116911/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-9744157-3580800?%5Fencoding=UTF8excellent tv. progressive is supposed to be better for fast moving images (sports) while interlace is better for still pictures. however, my tv (the panasonic) only does 1080i and watching programs (espn) that broadcast in 720p, i dont have any problems with the 720p being converted and displayed as 1080i on my tv.
