Is there a website that you can send a .jpg or .bmp file and have them make and frame a picture for you? If so, how is the image quality? Also, does anyone know of any good websites that sell a lot of neat pictures? I am looking for a large, 30ish x 45ish patriotic or military picture, preferably of a submarine if possible. Thanks.

I've used http://www.snapfish.com before for my digital camera prints. The print quality is excellent, if the source is good. I think you can order prints as large as you want, and possibly get them framed there as well.

i've always liked http://www.istockphoto.com for high-rez cheap photos, with no membership fees, etc. They have some decent stuff there. you could also check out http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page for free photos - often in high resoution as well.

snapfish sucks...their quality control leaves a lot to be desired. mainly, it's a printing issue...colors don't come out right. I haven't had many terrible experiences with getting film developed and pictures printed, but they have all been with snapfish.mpix.is good, but the price is really only justified if you want something more than 8x10s. if you're working with good photos, and really want peace of mind, go with white house custom color (whcc.com). Means of submission with them is FTP.for the few times i do want/need prints from digitals, i prefer winkflash. I have the Frequent Foto card at wolf, but that's for my 35mm pictures. My mother uses them, and about half the time, they mess up her order.

the only online thing i've used is yahoo photos/target. you upload your digital pics to a yahoo account, pick which ones you want printed, and pick them up at target in an hour. great quality, glossy photos. 10 cents per pic for 4x6"[Edited on February 12, 2006 at 8:30 PM. Reason : size]

Only things I buy online are my slaves as I import them from ethopia to work in my coal mines.
