^ Yeah State had that shitty game and really shitty first half against St. Johns, but 30 pts for an entire game by a BCS conference school is sad. I guess it's also the lowest point for a PAC-10 school since the introduction of the shot clock.

"That's the end of the half...NC STATE 10..."ahahahahahnever gets old.

How ignorant can you be? (NOTE: not a shot at anyone in particular, this isn't the first time this has been brought up) UCLA has one of the best defenses in the country. Wazzu's does have the worst offense in the Pac 10 by far. Both teams play at a snails pace (especially Wazzu, notorious for being one of the slowest paced teams in the country), the two slowest paced teams in the Pac 10. That's how you explain 30 points, not by assuming the Pac 10 is terrible. Good defense is only terrible by Skip Prosser's standards.[Edited on February 10, 2006 at 4:25 PM. Reason : k]

^ WTF? Are you trying to say that only scoring 30 pts isn't horrible? And yes the Pac-10 is absolutely horrible this year and trying to defend them by saying that these teams play a slow offense and have good defenses is gay.

the pac 10 fucking sucks in football and basketball

So much for that high-powered west-coast offense, I suppose.

^^^What I'm trying to say is, 30 points in 56 possessions is a combination of great UCLA defense and bad WSU offense, but not as significant as 30 points in your average game. I'm not really defending the Pac 10 - they are the 6th best of the big 6 this year. Plus not all teams in the Pac 10 play at a slow pace (see one of the fastest teams in the nation, Washington), nor do all teams play good defense (arizona st, oregon st). I am defending WSU though, 30 points in 56 possessions is terrible, but the average NCAA game is about 68 possessions, so you can't say pace doesn't matter. Anyway, if you don't think that pace and defense are just as important as offense, there's nothing left I have to say.[Edited on February 11, 2006 at 2:06 PM. Reason : 3]
