^you're right.v when you read "rear-mid-engined" think opposite of "front-mid-engined" the engine is behind the passengers, inside the wheelbase. the convention for "mid-engined" is better referred to this way given the load of legitimately front-mid-engined cars available now: Mercedes SLR, ferrari 612 scaglietti, maserati quattroporte... 599 GTB... honda s2000.... tvr sagaris....c'mon....(there's gotta be more than THAT).... aston martin v8 vantage...., marcos tso-gt, gt2..., wiesmann...[Edited on February 8, 2006 at 2:11 AM. What exactly is "Rear mid-engined"Is that rear engined (on top of rear axle) or mid engined (in front of rear axle) or both?!?!
2/8/2006 2:03:44 AM
^ its what he said ^^ its like the gt here the motor is behind the driver but between the wheels.most vettes are front mid engined.

i'm sure that number be even more impressibe if they kept the body kit off
2/8/2006 11:34:03 AM
thats no "body kit" in the most general term, its got to have that to create some downforce while cornering 3 G's, 450 pounds acting on 4 big tires alone will not create enough grip to corner like that without some mega downforce.
