Islam, in and of itself, does not. I would answer "No"

but I would also know that Muslims, in general, do endorse (or refuse to condemn) violence to a greater extent than other major religious adherents.

it isnt a yes or no question the way they have it worded. its asking if you think it endores or more less violence than other religions not if you believe that islam endorses violence. horrible wording

This, of course, isn't really an opinion question. You'd just have to take both holy books and find all the endorsements of violence. That's probably been done before.
