WTF is up with the roster of NC State?

I dont think i recognize half of the players on there.

The game is great, but Evitmov is fucking UNSTOPPABLE IN THE POST! LOL.

They have some white guy starting at SF who is reall good and can shoot threes.

hahahaha word. fucking davison. Its like they used actual stats for these guy's abilities on the game. Oklahoma State had a guy named 'Lark' on that game, he was a 6'11" C, and was listed as 75% from 3pt. He would nail 75% of em too, anywhere from right behind the line to just behind half court. But, you couldnt stand on the 3pt line and expect to make a shot, the game couldnt handle that. I always wondered if Ok. St. had a Center that went 3/4 from 3 the year before this game came out.

I don't remember noticing any problems with the roster (except the way they look), but I quit playing it when College Hoops came out.

Yeah I have March Madness 06, and our roster seems fine as far as the right size and positions.

Few things I don't like though...
Evtimov is rated a 58, what kind of crap is that?!? I mean I don't think he should be 80+, but at LEAST a 75 would be good enough.
They made all our freshman starters and better than most of the seniors.
They have Brackman able to shoot 3's pretty well(3-ball icon by his name while on the court).
Evtimov is really good in the paint and can dunk pretty well, which I've NEVER seen him dunk before.
Bethel, Atsur, and I don't think Bennerman dunk, and I know 2 of those 3 can dunk, and one of them is possibly our BEST dunker.

Panthro, are you sure it's Evtimov that is unstoppable for you, or McCauley? Ben is RIDICULOUS in this game. Ced tends to settle for the little lay-up move sometimes, but Ben goes right over the person, he is sick in the post.

I think the rating of our freshmen was the only thing that kept me from returning the game. I still can't figure out how they could rate our players so highly and yet not have us in the top 25, because I was totally dominating with State.

Thank god College Hoops 2k6 finally came out, though, because it's light-years better in terms of the actual game. (Although you do have to turn off the "Clutch factor" to keep it from driving you insane.)

Yeah, there are a ton of things about MM that just don't make sense.

Like last year, it was nearly impossible to have a transition game because the guy upcourt receiving the pass would stop and turn around to grab it.

Or one problem that's still there, you never see separation from defenders. You can be right in some guy's face and he'll put up a perfect 3. You have to read the defensive set and not actually watch the court--if they're playing zone, shoot the 3; if they're in man, go inside. Even if it looks like you're perfectly defended, you'll still hit it.

At least in CH you have to work the ball around to actually get open, and you can relate what the defense is doing to your success.

hmmm, maybe i just havent played it enough, but I really like MM.

I played online last night and I was NCSU an he was OKLA.

double over time......fells hits a fade away 15 footer from the basline at the buzzer to win the game.

Evtimov had 30 pts and 17 rebs....and three dunks!

I like it, yes it could be better, but playing online is the shit.

By the way, how do you call a play without getting the ball stolen from you?

I'm playing a dynasty as UNH. First season went alright; I think I ended up 16-12, got knocked out in the first round of the conference tournament, which I pretty much expected.

Second year, I had a much easier schedule, so I should have been rocking it...but teams that had around the same rating as me were just killing me. They'd go on insane runs and I couldn't even make an open layup. I turned "Clutch" off based on some comments I saw on a message board, and the change was incredible.

Basically the Clutch Factor just seems to force runs. With it off, if I lose, it's because I fucked up, not because the game decided it was time for me to fuck up.

some of the freshmen's numbers were off.. like McCauley is that really good player you were wondering about


Ced and Evtimov were the only ones who can dunk which is not very realistic


you can go to edit player and put in the roster names, and change stats/facial features to match the actual player (like change it and make ppl able to dunk, shoot etc)

You wanna win some bets, Be Charlotte, Ark-Pine Bluff, or Tulane and let someone be Duke. Curtis Withers is unstoppable because he dunks from anywhere on the court and can pop thres. APB has a center who is a 99 Dunk and 95 Dunk SF who dominate. Tulane has a Center w/ 95 Dunk and a SF at like 85. You can easily score 90+ pts on the hardest mode w/ either player. Its like a fucking glitch in the game
