Jesus and Buddha get made fun of all of the time and while many may voice their disapproval, this violent reaction is just rediculous. Talk about reinforcing the image of Islam as a radical terrorist religion!

A French newspaper posted a cartoon last week after the controversy that had Vishnu, Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad sitting on a cloud. Vishnu, Jesus, and Buddah were all saying "Don't worry Muhammad, we've been there before. Chill out."

Yes I know that Muslims are commanded to love all of the prophets both New Testament and Old. They do not believe he is the son of God because they do not believe God needs a human son to deliver his teachings. So, if someone follows the muslim teachings than they would not blasphemy by speaking ill of Jesus any more than they would Muhammad. What I am saying is that there must certainly be the equivalent of the Sunday morning Christian in the Muslim world, if you know what I mean.

^^Now and before I got into this brief debate with you there old man. The point that I would like to make is that I am not religious, but I support the rights of others to worship as they please. You can call me a sinner, infidel, heathen or whatever floats your boat, but do not tell me that I cannot make fun of your chosen god/prophet. I am not bound by any religious laws, scripture or testaments.

Okay, I said I am aware that Muslims recognize Jesus as a prophet, but not the son of God. However, this has nothing to do with my statement calling the violent reaction to the cartoon rediculous. These reactions are a statement that their religion is exempt from criticism and I am saying it is not, nor is any other religion.
