Don't know exactly what those guys are called, but I need to have some jewelry fixed, has anyone had a good/bad experience with someone in the area. Recommendations appriciated.

Johnson's Jewlers in downtown cary. They do great work, have been there for decades, and they will take care of you with some old timey customer service that is rare these days.

Creative Metalsmiths on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill is really good. I highly recommend them if you can get to Chapel Hill.

the place by the food court in Crabtree reset a diamond pendant for me, and I've been very pleased... their name is Treasure Isle or something like that

Jolly's in North Hills - they're helpful, informative, and actually explain what they do (and why they do it that way if you ask).
