its starting to seem that way....seems like he is gonna be at the NY Jets to me, could be the best potential QB in the draft much like Brett Favre just with a much higher # pick

they are raving about him at the Senior bowl thats why this thread came about

obviously Matt to N.O. and Young to Tenn. so Cutler is next pick for NY right?

I don't think anyone is really considering him a darkhorse. Most of the pre-draft stuff I've seen since the bowls had him in the first 15 picks. Anyone who can almost lead freaking Vandy to a bowl game deserves to be a 1st round pick.

I haven't heard anything about him being better than Leinart or Young, but he is definitely getting his props.

People have been raving about Jay Cutler long before the Senior Bowl. I think Favre is an accurate comparison, the kid has great field vision and has a fucking sweet gunslinging motion.

yeah they were talkin about cutler at the beginning of the year

then when they went on that hot streak, his name REALLY got out there


i wouldn't call him a dark horse... a dark horse would be a guy who lit it up in a mid-major conference, got drafted late, and still shined in the nfl (if charlie frye pans out, he'd be a great example)

Top 5 doesn't seem right to me. He should definitely go in the top 15, though. He's as good as Leinert, might be better.
