i dont know what happened, but my mum and sister tinkered with my ps2 during xmas break, and i went back home to get it, and whenever i put a CD inside, it makes a really weird noise, and wont stop making it and doesnt read the CD, any ideas?

are you having the dreaded "Disc read error" ? I was able to fix my PS2 using this article http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/hardware/ps2.arsIts worth a shot, and if your PS2 doesnt work as it is, it wont matter if you fuck it up more trying to repair it
